i lived in a two bedroom apartment in Austin
and then one day my roommates moved out, leaving an empty room
so i recorded a "demo" of this song on my phone in that empty room
and it was so echo-y and awesome (and sad!)
when it came time to record it in the studio,
i was like "i need big echo"
and surprise... studio had this massive echo chamber.
there are no effects, this was what that room sounded like
ISN'T THAT COOL?
