when i was in college i was friends with a girl named Sarah and another girl named Sara so i think at one point i refered to them in a message as Sara(h). this song is not about them!
i wanted to write about real love, which isn't about ignoring or coping with or getting over flaws, but the wonder of seeing a whole person, including all the things that should be reasons not to like them, and seeing how all these things are inseperable to the whole and accepting the whole.
i love this song a lot. i love playing it, i love how fun it is, i think it is kind and good and sweet.
Recording Notes
yesss finally a drum machine!! i don't know why but it was crucial that i use a drum machine at least once on this thing. can you imagine, 24 songs and yet none of them feature a drum machine?? but thankfully we got it. and some fun samples, too.
